Forget lipstick or even blush while masked. Let's Forget lipstick or even blush while masked. Let's face it - earrings are about the only thing to brighten our eyes these days. We might as well indulge in some ear candy.
.
These pretty Rhinestone Bloom earrings have charcoal gray rhinestone-encrusted spheres with dangling free-form flowers of hand lampwork glass. All this fancy on gunmetal French wires.

Available in the online Shop. Link in bio.😉

Does art imitate life or life imitates art? We cou Does art imitate life or life imitates art? We could all use a bit of escapism. With days looking similar from one to the next, frivolity does the soul good.
.
Take a look at my latest Journal post called No Strings Attached. Jeremy Scott, the creative director of Moschino, created an oddly appropriate cinematic, digital experience to calm the current dilemma. You can see the photos and view the video there.
.
The Moschino Spring 2021 collection was photographed after that on live models (see above) exhibiting "strings attached." So, does art imitate life or vice versa? You decide.😉

Time for my weekly reading. I pick three tarot car Time for my weekly reading. I pick three tarot cards and one rune stone each Sunday. This mindful practice delivers messages from within about what to focus on for the seven days ahead.
.
At the end of each month, I also do an oracle card reading for the next. This revelation helps me set purposeful goals for growth. Many times it merely confirms intuitive nudges felt. Or the cards widen my perspective to include areas calling for attention. Tarot, runes, and oracles are my friendly tools for insight.
.
For curious souls, I use the Tarot Mucha deck by Massaylia & Dosenzo, Ralph Blum ceramic runes, and the Roots and Wings oracle deck by Kat Ralls. Though I have worked with numerous tools over the years, I have an affinity with these three. They speak a combined language I understand.
.
The Moon Talisman necklace Brenna wears is sold, but there are still a few available on the website. The link is in my bio.
.
Have a beautiful Sunday, my friends.😌

As I promised, here is the finished project I teas As I promised, here is the finished project I teased with my post from the other day. It really started with the jewelry. Because of it, I photograph Brenna wearing the pieces for promotion. Though I am not a photographer, something about this process inspires me beyond the original goal.
.
With so many digital images collected, I started to play with double exposure and color overlay to create original moods. A theme emerged, and I narrowed down the group to four, each representing a season. With sprouting Spring green, Summer ablaze in pink, the darkened autumnal colors of Fall, and a cool undertone for Winter, I had laser copies printed of each picture. FedEx did a great job. Each one was less than a dollar.
.
Utilizing the same glue-based medium used to create the Deux-coupage jewelry, I made each image into a "skin." But what could be a base? We keep everything, including leftover tiles from our bathroom redo over fifteen years ago! The tiles are textured twelve-inch squares, a perfect base for the 8x8 inch skins.
.
I carefully ripped the edges (I love that look) and adhered each to a tile. Purchasing custom-cut metal frame sections (all under $70 for four ready-to-assemble frames), I carefully constructed and hung the Seasons in our bedroom.
.
Back in 1989, I sketched and created the four seasons in a suite of shadow box portraits. It's a curious comparison looking at it all now. Though they are lovely, the growth of my creative soul is apparent.
.
Onto the next project!

Today, I reached level 54, and I feel great!🎂
